Renault Winery Wedding | South Jersey Wedding | Christina and Steven

Spring Renault Winery Wedding. Christina and Steven said their vows and partied the night away at one of the most popular South Jersey Wedding Venues, The Renault Winery. This venue offers old-world charm and vineyard views. It is at a historic American landmark in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The French-inspired resort has cultivated a space where couples and guests can enjoy vineyards, elegant facilities, and manicured gardens. I always enjoy photographing weddings at this venue, and this elegant wedding did not disappoint.

These two lovebirds met while Christina was in law school and Steven was studying for his CPA exam/working in NYC. Their first date was at a diner, and they had been inseparable since then! Steven proposed Christmas Day 2021 in Duluth, MN, at Canal Park while visiting Christina’s family. Christina and Steven enjoy visiting wineries, so their venue was perfect. They both envisioned a day full of love and fun! When they thought about their wedding day, having all their closest family and friends together in one place was one of the main goals.

Cape May Engagement Session

I love that my wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session because I enjoy spending time with my couples. Christina and Steven love Cape May and wanted to have their session near the lighthouse since they got engaged by one in Duluth. We had a gorgeous day with a little breeze. Christina’s dress loved the wind and was great for a beach session. We laughed when we couldn’t open the champagne bottle, and they snuggled as the sunset. Check out their engagement blog to read more about their love story and see their engagement photos.

Spring Renault Winery Wedding

April weddings are so beautiful with all the trees and flowers blooming. The weather was perfect for a spring wedding as we had some sun, and the temperature was in the 60s. Christina looked gorgeous in her satin gown, and her bridesmaids wore different champagne color dresses. I love this elegant color scheme and all the details added to their day. Betina, Christina’s florist, added peonies to her bouquet because they have them blooming in the yard of their first home together. They chose to exchange perfume/cologne the morning of the wedding so they could each wear the special scent.

Christina chose to have a day of coordinator who helped keep all the details together. I highly recommend this to future brides. Heather, from ReRentless Events, was an essential part of their vendor team. Heather had to run to pick up a forgotten shirt for the groom and record special moments of the day because their videographer was a no-show. She also worked with our photography timeline and helped keep everyone on time and in the right spot.

A special first dance

Christina and Steven are not dancers but challenged themselves by taking dance lessons for their first dance. They performed it beautifully, and their guests loved it. They also chose a lot of the music for the day as songs they loved had special meaning. There were many laughs during the toasts and speeches, and their family and friends danced as soon as the DJ opened the dance floor. We were able to sneak out after cutting the cake for a few more wedding portraits, giving us a chance to take advantage of the gardens and blooming trees. It was such a gorgeous and fun wedding.

Once the excitement from the day has subsided, I like to reach out to my couples to ask them what advice they could share for future wedding couples. Christina shared this advice, “Hiring a day of coordinator was a lifesaver! Heather from ReRentless got Steven a shirt, took some video clips for us after we learned our videographer wasn’t coming, and overall, she was a huge help. Little things won’t be as you expected or how you want them to be, but enjoy the day, and don’t dwell on what didn’t go as planned! The wedding day flies by so quickly – enjoy every second of it!”

I say this often, but it is worth repeating; I am lucky to have the sweetest wedding couples. Christina and Steven were a dream to work for, and I enjoyed getting to know them and their love story. They both have beautiful families, and their friends were fun to celebrate with. I hope to see them again as the next chapter of their love story begins. Congratulations, Christina and Steven, and may you have many happy, healthy years together, enjoying each other.
