Seaview Resort Fall Wedding | Gina and Nick Married | South Jersey Wedding

Seaview Resort Fall Wedding. This past November, Gina, and Nick said their vows at the gorgeous Seaview Resort in Galloway, NJ. For more than a century, Seaview, a Dolce Hotel, has played host to presidents, rock stars, golf’s greatest champions, and now Gina and Nick’s wedding!  I enjoyed getting to know this witty couple, and their wedding day was a perfect, a little chilly but fun nevertheless!

I first met Gina at a Dunkin Donuts hours before the world shut down from Covid. It was such a crazy period for wedding couples. Gina and Nick had an interesting time planning the rest of their wedding during the pandemic. We safely had their engagement session on the beach in Cape May three months later. You can see their gorgeous engagement photos by clicking here. These two love birds had a great session, and I loved hearing more about them like Gina loves the beach and Nick doesn’t. They adore each other but also like to pick on one another lovingly. We had lots of fun and laughs.

A Beautiful Fall Day

A couple of days before the wedding, I met Gina and Nick at their venue. I had not photographed a wedding at the Seaview, so I wanted to visit the resort to be familiar with the layout. We had the timeline finalized and the family photo list made. The weather looked nice, and we were all set for their big day.

The wedding day was sunny, which we were thankful for, but it was also chilly. Everyone, including Gina and Nick, didn’t complain about the cold while taking photos, even though I know the girls must have been freezing. They all did so well! I met Gina and her bridesmaids in a beautiful getting-ready room. It was a gorgeous room with natural light and big windows. I start the day by capturing a unique photo of the rings, invitation, and dress because it helps tell the day’s story.

Details

I loved the colors Gina chose, and her invitations were so pretty. Gina’s bouquet of white, pink, and blue flowers from, Petal and paper florals, had a piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress wrapped around it. After taking all the detail photos and getting Gina into her dress, I found Nick and his groomsmen to take pictures of them before setting up the first look.

First look and photos near the bay

Gina loved her dress and couldn’t wait for Nick to see her in it. I encourage the first look as it gives couples a chance to enjoy the first moment of seeing each other genuinely!  After the first look, the wedding party joined us for photos in the courtyard before Gina, Nick, and I headed to the bay for photos. One of the beautiful things about the Seaview is there are great views of the Atlantic City skyline at the end of the golf course. We had a slight breeze, which made it colder, but it made Gina’s dress move in the wind. Those photos are my favorites from the day.

They said their I do’s in front of family and friends and even added a bit of humor to the ceremony. While going through their timeline, Gina wanted to make sure that she had time to get to her cocktail hour. I ensured her that since they had the first look, we wouldn’t need to take much time for photos after the ceremony and that they would be able to enjoy the cocktail hour. Gina was excited because she wanted to make sure she got to have some tacos at the taco bar. They also enjoyed the specialty cocktails that they named after their cats.

After the cocktail hour, they couldn’t wait to get the party started! It was a fun celebration full of laughs, beautiful toasts, cake, dancing, and love for these two.  The staff at the Seaview was accommodating, and the DJs from Inspire entertainment kept the party going! It was a fun day, and I enjoyed capturing their wedding day for them.

Advice for future wedding couples

I like to ask my wedding couples to share advice for future couples after their wedding. Gina said to not stress about what you cannot fix. For instance, multiple pieces of the groomsmen’s attire were the wrong size, and they couldn’t pick them up until noon the day of the wedding! They also said to take in every moment because it flies by.

Gina and Nick had a beautiful day! May they have a lifetime of love and happiness, and I am sure there will be a lot of laughter!
