NJ Winery Engagement Session | Renault Winery Engagement session | Kristen and Max |
NJ Winery Engagement Session. I met Kristen and Max at the Renault Winery for their engagement session this past November. They are having their wedding at this gorgeous venue wanted to have their engagement photos taken at the same location. It is a fun place to do an engagement session!
Having a sunny and warm day in November is a hard combination to get. We had some clouds and a semi warm day. I will take the warmth. They wanted to include their dog in some of their photos. I loved that idea. Their puppy had lots of energy that afternoon but did a good job posing with them.
A Renault Winery Engagement Session
Alyssa, one of the event coordinators at the Renault winery, drove us around the golf course and vineyards. I asked to take us to the field with the tall grass. She let me know that they just mowed that field….ugh…how dare they? Ha-ha. Well, that was ok, because I found a new field!! The grass was tall, and the grassy area was surrounded by trees. Kristen and Max were nervous about posing for their session. I am not sure why, because they did perfectly! I just loved their connection. They rocked all their poses! I enjoy engagement sessions even more when couples just naturally cuddle and snuggle!
A love story
Kristen and Max met through mutual friends. They hung out in the same circle of friends but were always just friends. A few months went by when Kristen got a random text from Max. He was visiting a friend in Florida at the time and texted Kristen that he booked her a plane ticket to fly to Florida for the night. Kristen said without hesitation,” Okay, I will pack a bag.” And the rest is history. They spent the week in Florida together and have been inseparable ever since. From that day forward they spent every day together. They grew in adulthood with each other.
Max was a rower growing up and he loved to row on the Navesink River. They would always go to this one spot, watch the boats go by, have a picnic and just enjoy their day. November 2, 2019 Max planned one of these picnics. Kristen didn’t think anything of his plans except that it was kind of cold out. She figured she would cuddle with him to stay warm and she was fine with his plans. While the two of them were standing along the edge of the river Max got down on one knee and asked Kristen to marry him. Well, she thinks that is what he asked her because she doesn’t remember much about those moments. She couldn’t believe that this moment was happening.
A Renault Winery Wedding
When these two started to think about wedding venues they envisioned the exact same thing. They both wanted a loving and intimate wedding at a beautiful venue, where their guests could enjoy themselves indoors and out. One of their friends had suggested the winery to them so they went to visit the venue. When they were there the location was under construction. Max works in construction so he was instantly intrigued at all the plans they had. They both fell in love with the renderings and said yes to the winery for their wedding venue.
The winery is exactly what they envisioned and are so excited to get married this October. They cannot wait to celebrate with family and friends while everyone enjoys good food, good wine and a great view. They are looking forward to the moment that they walk down the aisle as husband and wife.
