Romantic Renault Wedding | Kristen and Max’s Fall wedding | South Jersey Wedding

Romantic Renault Winery Wedding. Weddings at the Renault winery are always gorgeous. I love photographing weddings at this venue, and I am excited to be one of their preferred wedding photographers. Fall is becoming the most popular time for weddings, and a fall wedding at a winery is perfect.

I met Kristen and Max for the first time at their engagement session. The session was also at the Renault winery. They are such a sweet couple, and we had such a fun time taking photos. They were unsure of themselves when we first started, but their inner models shone through, and they did great. They had brought their dog, Coco, for the first part of the session, which I love when couples can include their pets. We also got to go out into the vines, which was nice because it gave us a chance to scoop out spots to use on their wedding day. Check out their engagement session on the blog.

Beautiful Fall Day

The morning of the wedding, the sun was shining, and the weather was late October warm. There was rain in the forecast, but thankfully, it was only supposed to rain after the ceremony. The threat of rain gave us cloudy skies, making beautiful, filtered light. I met Kristen and her bridal party in the getting-ready room at the venue. Everyone was so excited for these two to get married finally.

I started with the detail photos. Kristen and Max’s invitation suite was so romantic. Slate and Brush did a beautiful job designing the invitations and were so lovely to send me a complete invitation suite for photographs. Kristen’s bouquet was flawless. Pocket Full of Posies, Kristen’s florist, had creative freedom to design the bouquets and décor. Kristen told her about the vibe for the day and her wedding colors and was very impressed by everything her florist did. Kristen’s wedding dress, from Castle Couture, fit her perfectly and was so pretty.

Kristen and Max surrounded themselves with their family and friends. The wedding party was so much fun and helpful. Kristen’s bridal party wore burgundy dresses, and her maid of honor wore a champagne-colored dress from Nicole’s. Max and his groomsmen wore blue suits. Max’s suit was from Enzo’s custom’s and the groomsmen’s suits were from Men’s Warehouse. I love this trendy color combination, and it was the perfect choice for their fall wedding.

Anticipated moments

With so many special moments that happen during the wedding day, there are always memorable moments that couples cannot wait for. Kristen and Max looked forward to their first look and the first dance. They were both at peace knowing they were marrying the love of their lives and those moments made it all feel so real. Kristen also looked forward to the first look with her dad. There were tears at all these moments!

The first look between Kristen and Max took place near the grapevines. The vines were beautiful that day and were perfect with shades of yellows and orange, which added great fall colors to the photos. After the first look, we went into the golf course and grapevines for more photos. We took pictures in a couple of spots we had used during their engagement session. But my favorites were the ones we took in the tall grass! They look so happy and relaxed in these photos. I loved their interactions and the tender moments they had with each other, and that they laughed together and at each other.

One of the highlights of getting married at the winery is the outdoor ceremony space. This space is pretty, with the golf course and pond in the background and the Vineyard ballroom overlooking the grounds. Kristen and Max had a touching ceremony, and I loved their excitement when the officiant announced them as husband and wife. After the ceremony, we quickly finished the family photo list since we had all the groupings planned out ahead of time. One of the benefits of having a first look is taking most of the photos before the ceremony, letting the wedding couple have time to enjoy their cocktail hour.

Kristen and Max were able to add many personal touches to their day. They had custom beer labels made with their picture on the front and their love story on the back. Their signature drink sign had Coco’s picture on it, and they had a memorial table with photos of their loved ones who had passed away. They both adore their families and friends and were so excited to have everyone together in one place celebrating their love.

Another moment that Kristen and Max couldn’t wait for was their first dance. Everyone was smiling and crying as they watched them dance—such a perfect moment. After the first dance, parent dancing, the toasts, and dinner, the party started. Everyone danced and had a wonderful time. Since it was sprinkling when it was time for me to leave, I couldn’t photograph the sparklers, but I was able to capture a few last moments outside for them.

Advice for future Wedding couples:

Don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s easy to get caught up in what’s not going exactly as you planned. Don’t let it consume you. Take every moment in and enjoy it because before you know it, the lights are coming on, and the night is ending.

I enjoyed getting to know these two and loved capturing their love story. They had a beautiful day. Kristen and Max, may you have a lifetime of laughter and love.
I look forward to seeing you again to capture the next chapter of your story.
