Engagement Session at Asbury Park, NJ | Spring Engagement Session | Kelcie and Tim

Asbury Park Engagement Session. This past May, Asbury Park, NJ‘s vibrant energy became the backdrop for Kelcie and Tim’s engagement session. Despite a few reschedules, we were blessed with a beautiful day that perfectly complemented the love they share. From the iconic boardwalk to the sandy shores, I captured their connection amidst the artistic charm that defines Asbury Park. This location held extra significance for Kelcie and Tim, as it was where Tim proposed to Kelcie, making every photo a beautiful reminder of their journey.

A Love Story Born at Work

Kelcie and Tim’s story began in 2019 when they crossed paths at work for the local county. Tim, an officer at Kelcie’s building, would start their mornings with a greeting. Although Kelcie initially rejected his advances, fate had other plans. Their connection deepened during happy hours with mutual friends, leading to secret dates that eventually became not-so-secret. By all means, they are grateful for their past jobs that brought them together; Kelcie and Tim’s love blossomed, culminating in a heartfelt proposal on the beach of Asbury Park.

Tim’s proposal was carefully orchestrated, showcasing the couple’s favorite spots in Asbury Park. After watching the final World Cup game at Asbury Biergarten, he surprised Kelcie with a scenic beach setup featuring their favorite songs, champagne, and flowers. Shortly after the proposal, the surprises continued with an engagement brunch at Porta, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Asbury Park held sentimental value for the couple, as it was where they first went on dates, and the proposal became a cherished chapter in their love story.

Kelcie and Tim’s Engagement Session

Always looking for exciting locations for engagement session photography, I was excited about Kelcie and Tim’s session in Asbury Park. It was a great chance to explore the town’s unique charm and details. We enjoyed taking photos against colorful murals and by the beach. Our stroll led us to the old carousel, and we wrapped up with some casual walking shots under the evening sun. I also enjoyed chatting with Kelcie and Tim and learning more about their love story and upcoming wedding plans. The whole session turned out to be so much fun. These two rocked their poses, and I felt like I was photographing professional models.

Kelcie and Tim share a love for the beach, concerts, and exploring new breweries. Tim is captivated by Kelcie’s wit and always appreciates her ability to make him laugh. In turn, Kelcie admires Tim’s unwavering support and thoughtfulness. With Kelcie’s background as an event planner, they envision their wedding day as a stress-free celebration. Everyone can revel in the music, drinks, and breathtaking scenery at this great party.

Anticipation for the big day

Kelcie and Tim eagerly anticipate their special day, a beach wedding and reception at Mcloons Pier House in Long Branch. Having experienced weddings with varying stress levels, their goal is simple: to ensure everyone has a fantastic time at their wedding. Kelcie aims to create a seamless experience, allowing their love to shine amidst the waves, music, and celebration. I’m thrilled to have captured their love at Asbury Park and look forward to witnessing the next chapter of their journey at Mcloons Pier House.
