A Brigantine Beach Engagement Session | Brooke and Chris | May 2020

A Brigantine Beach Engagement Session. Brooke and Chris met me at the south end of Brigantine for their engagement session.  We had the perfect weather. It was a warm day and the was hazy sun.  The beach was busy since it was one of the first nice days of the season but we were able to find a quiet spot near the dunes.

High School Sweethearts

Brooke and Chris met in middle school through mutual friends. They hung out all of 9th grade summer and began dating just before school started that year.  Even thought they went to different schools they keep dating. They have been together since 2011.  These two are true high school sweethearts!

Chris had decide to ask Brooke to marry him and chose Christmas day to pop the question. They try to go to Peddlers village every year to see the Christmas lights but were extremely busy and hadn’t been able to go that year.  So Brooke suggested that after Christmas dinner they go and see the lights with their son.  Little did she know that Chris had been trying to get her to go for weeks so he could propose.   When Brooke suggested it Chris was excited to go and realized his plan would happen after all.

Christmas day proposal

Well, their son ended up not feeling well and fell asleep almost changing their plans.  Brooke’s mom to the rescue! She was over for Christmas  dinner and insisted that they go and she would stay with their son. Brooke didn’t want to leave their son but her mom and Chris convinced her to go.  So they went and Chris’s plan was in motion! While walking around the village with their best friends Brooke wanted to go on this cute wooden bridge that was lite up to take a picture.  As she was walking across the bridge Chris grabbed her arm turning her around then got on one knee! Brooke was surprise and of course she said yes!

Brooke and Chris love spending time with their son, watching movies, going for walks with our son and dog,  and love eating ice cream together. Chris admires how extremely caring and giving Brooke is. She is so loving to anyone. Chris also loves how well Brooke expresses her love. Brooke loves that Chris is funny and outgoing.  He can make anyone laugh. He is also one of the most loving persons that Brooke has ever known.

 Planning a winter wedding

They are having a winter wedding. Brooke’s  dream wedding day would include little bit of snow! Snow or no snow they both just want their day to be an elegant, romantic experience with lots of laughs and smiles!

We started the session on the dunes with their son Christopher.  He was such a cutie and loved playing in the sand like most little ones do.  He was all smiles and full of kisses so I was able to capture some cute photos. After some swinging and a quick outfit change a family friend took Christopher down the beach to play in the sand leaving us to do some romantic engagement photos.

Brigantine Beach Engagement Session

Brooke and Chris were perfect with their posing.  I would barely get through explaining what I wanted and they were doing it which I just loved. They are very cuddly and Chris does the nuzzle very well.  After we took some photos on the dunes I asked if they mind getting wet, and I was so excited when they said no, let’s go.  The water was a tad chilly but these two didn’t care.  Brooke wanted sexy and she got sexy. I love the photos of the two of them in the water.  And they can do a dip kiss….very well.

I am so glad that I was able to do this session for these two.  I can tell that they are so in love by the way they look at each other. Brooke can not wait to walk down the aisle towards her hazel eyed soulmate and say I do. Chris can not wait to see how beautiful his bride will look on their wedding day and to make her his wife. That sounds like true love to me!
