A Carriage House Wedding | Jessica and Steven | March 15, 2019

A Carriage House wedding.  Jessica and Steven’s wedding was just gorgeous.  They chose the Carriage House in Galloway, New Jersey for their wedding venue.  This premiere wedding venue in south New Jersey was recently featured on the TV series, Say Yes to the Dress. I was excited to photograph their wedding at this location.  The venue did not disappoint.  The staff was so pleasant and attentive and everything the couple needed was taken care of.

These two lucked out and had a beautiful spring day for their wedding. I met these two last year.  They had just gotten engaged at Epcot in Disney and were excited about planning their wedding.  They met, dated, and fell in love.   Steven got down on one knee in front of the Epcot ball while family looked on.  They love Disney and included little touches of it throughout their wedding.  And one guess where they are honeymooning???  Disney world!!

Beautiful Getting Ready Suites

Their wedding day started with everyone getting ready at the Carriage House.  They have beautiful getting ready suites at this venue.  I was able to walk back and forth to photograph getting ready pictures of Steven and Jessica, which was nice. Starting out with photographing their details was so much fun using the outdoor space on the balcony. Both of the suites had pretty windows that I was able to take advantage of. I love when natural light spills into the rooms.

Jessica and Steven were able to have a moment and hold hands before they first saw each other for the first time at the ceremony.  It is always a sweet moment and I enjoy capturing this for my couples whom choose not to do a first look.  This is a great way to feel each others touch and calm nerves before the big moment of walking down the aisle.

Disney touches everywhere

The ceremony was short and sweet with the bride and groom both walking in to Disney tunes.  They both wrote and read their vows to each other.  There were tears coming from both of them. They really expressed so many thoughts and emotions in their vows.  The two exchanged rings and sealed their vows with a kiss!
We were able to get some family photos in the grand entrance way and pictures of the bride and groom after the ceremony in the garden area while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. The guest found their seats with place cards that resembled ride tickets from the theme park.  The Carriage House did a great job letting them add all of their favorite Disney touches to their decor.  Even the wedding cake was touched with a Disney theme.

The DJ kept the reception running smoothly with dances, toasts, cake cutting and bouquet/garter tossing.  The guests let loose while getting their photos taken in front of the photo booth and on the dance floor. I had a fun time moving around the dance floor capturing the guest dancing. I even danced my favorite line dance with everyone….the Hustle!
It was a beautiful day and they had a perfect wedding to be remembered by all for a long time.
