LBI NJ Fall Wedding. Last November marked a memorable occasion as I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning wedding in LBI, New Jersey. Maureen and Ray exchanged vows on the picturesque beach near the Brant Beach Yacht Club in Ship Bottom. We were blessed with ideal late fall weather, with partly cloudy skies casting beautiful filtered sunlight. The day culminated with a glorious sunset.
At the start of the day, I met Maureen and her bridesmaids at the elegant Hotel LBI. Inside the gorgeous suite, the atmosphere overflowed with love as Maureen’s bridesmaids showered her with affection. Together, we joyfully captured those precious pre-ceremony moments.
Ray and his groomsmen gathered on the beach near their venue, and I met them after I finished getting-ready photos with Maureen. He was surrounded by close friends and family, setting the tone for a joyous celebration. When Maureen arrived at the beach, we orchestrated their heartfelt first look, witnessing Ray’s emotional reaction to seeing his bride in her stunning gown.
A Perfect LBI NJ Fall Wedding
After capturing candid wedding party photos on the beach, the rest of the wedding party made their way to the venue. That left Maureen, Ray, and me on the shore for their couple portraits. Against the backdrop of the Jersey shoreline, Maureen and Ray shared tender moments, allowing me to preserve their pure and genuine love. These intimate sessions always stand out as one of the highlights of the wedding day for me.
The ceremony itself was a touching affair, brimming with love and sincerity. After capturing some cherished family photos, everyone joined the cocktail hour. Maureen and Ray made a grand entrance to their cocktail hour, serenaded by the DJ playing her late father’s favorite song.
The Brant Beach Yacht Club provided a perfect setting for the festivities. Ensuring everyone had a fantastic time, complemented by delicious food, this venue has become a favorite. As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became even livelier, particularly after heartfelt toasts from the best man and maid of honor. We were also able to capture beautiful sunset photos, which were on Maureen’s must-have photo list.

I cherished the opportunity to get to know Maureen and Ray. They are a genuinely sweet couple whose love was evident in every detail of their special day. The weather was undoubtedly a gift, with the stunning sunset serving as the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable celebration. Capturing every moment of this perfect day for them was an honor after their 3,654-day wait.
