Spring wedding at the Jersey Shore | Asbury and Long Branch | Kelcie and Tim
Asbury spring wedding. Kelcie and Tim’s wedding day was a dream come true, filled with love, laughter, and breathtaking scenery! Their wedding on April 28, 2024, began at the beautiful Asbury Hotel, where the day kicked off with getting-ready photos in one of the hotel’s stunning rooms. Kelcie and Tim chose to have their first look here, and the moment was pure magic. With soft lighting, in one of the gorgeous rooms at the hotel, they said their vows to each other. It was a moment neither of them will ever forget.
We captured beautiful shots in and around the hotel. One especially whimsical moment was when Kelcie’s day-of coordinator from Champagne Magnolia Events shook a tree, cascading cherry blossoms around them. Everyone then hopped onto a trolley to attend the ceremony and reception at McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch, NJ. With their ceremony overlooking the ocean, Kelcie and Tim had the beachside wedding they had always envisioned. Their sunny, perfect day turned out even better than they’d imagined. “Everything went better than expected,” they shared, describing it as the best day of their lives, packed with joy, incredible weather, and memories they’ll hold close forever.
Spring wedding at the Jersey Shore
Kelcie and Tim added many personal touches to their day. As they are both huge beach lovers and often spend endless hours at Long Branch, having their wedding here was a full-circle moment, bringing their relationship to a beautiful point of celebration right where it all began. They even picked out each other’s fragrances to wear on the big day, selected meaningful songs for the ceremony and reception, and included a brewery-themed guest book—a nod to their shared love of exploring new breweries and unique craft beers.
Kelcie’s wedding look couldn’t have been more perfect for this beachside celebration. She wore her dream lace gown, which was form-fitting and beautifully detailed. She perfectly matched her lace flower heels that peeked out from beneath the dress. Her bouquet was designed to complement the spring setting with soft hues, anemones as the focal flower, and gentle blues and pinks that matched her bridesmaids’ dresses. The whole look brought out the dreamy vibe of the season, capturing the light, airy feel of their wedding day.
The anticipation was high as Kelcie and Tim stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance. They’d been looking forward to this moment and even practiced a few moves. They nailed it, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of celebration with friends and family.
Advice from the wedding couple
Kelcie also shared some great advice for couples planning their weddings. “If you’re doing a lot of DIY, ensure you have a wedding planner or a venue with a dedicated day-of coordinator!”. She emphasized the importance of making the day about you as a couple, savoring every moment, and yes—even finding time to enjoy every course of the wedding meal!
Reflecting on the day, Kelcie and Tim described working with me, Memories by Maria Photography, as having “a friend helping throughout the day.” We had such a great time bringing their vision to life, and I feel so grateful to have been able to capture all these special moments for them.
Kelcie and Tim, thank you for letting me be part of your journey! Your wedding was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two.
