South Jersey Beach Photographer. Memories by Maria Photography. I had one of the busiest summer seasons ever! I am so thankful that with everything that was going on in our world I was able to work at the job I love.  With all the craziness of 2020 came so many unknowns that I was nervous about how the summer season was going to be when the pandemic first started.  Many of my regular clients rescheduled or had to cancel altogether because of the restrictions.  I was getting worried but I wished them all well and said I hope to see them next year. Once the summer weeks started more and more inquiries came rolling in and before I knew it, I was fully booked. Even a little overbooked trying to get everyone scheduled.

I cannot express how deeply Thankful  I am for all my clients that trust me to capture their precious family memories.  This summer I saw many familiar families and many new families, which I just loved.  I photographed families and couples up and down the Jersey shore.  The Jersey beach towns I photographed in was Long Beach Island, Brigantine, Atlantic City, Margate, Ventnor, Ocean City, Sea Isle, Avalon, Stone Harbor, North Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and Cape May.  I discovered some new favorite beaches and still love Ocean City and Cape May beaches.

The more I am at the shore the more I realize how lucky I am that I live so close to the Ocean. I just love that I can photograph families and couples in their happy place. I have families that chose the beautiful sunrise light and some that prefer the golden light of sunset. Both times are perfect for photos because the light isnt too bright. We had some gorgeous skies this summer especially at the end of summer when the smoke from the fires out west made the skies hazy.

I have some favorite poses and I am always willing to try new ideas.  One of my must have poses is to have families and couples walk along the shore. It gives me a chance to capture the family, the ocean, the beach and the sky all in the same photo.
