2025 wedding season recap

2025 wedding season recap. As I reflect back on my 2025 wedding season, I’m filled with so much gratitude. This year I photographed 16 weddings across South Jersey and the Jersey Shore, each one unique, personal, and full of love. From backyard weddings to elegant venues, beach ceremonies to vineyard celebrations, 2025 was a year that truly reminded me why I love being a wedding photographer.

One special full-circle moment this year was that I started and ended the wedding season at Swan Lake, a venue I photographed at five times in 2025 alone. It felt like the perfect bookends to an incredible year.

What stood out most this season was how couples are continuing to move away from old traditions and instead focusing on connection, meaning, and creating a day that truly feels like them. There were so many beautiful colors, thoughtful details, and intentional choices — all centered around love and the people who matter most.

This year also reinforced some important lessons: the value of a well-planned timeline, the importance of truly listening to what matters most to my couples, and being prepared for every type of weather imaginable — heat, wind, rain, cold, and everything in between. No matter the conditions, we always found a way to create beautiful images and meaningful moments.

Below is a look back at each wedding that made 2025 so memorable.

2025 Wedding Venues Featured

During the 2025 wedding season, I photographed weddings at the following beautiful venues across South Jersey and the Jersey Shore:

Wedding Highlights | 2025

Rachael & Tim | Swan Lake

Rachael and Tim kicked off the season at Swan Lake with one of those days that truly had it all — rain, sunshine, and even rainbows. The ever-changing weather only added to the magic of their wedding day. To top it off, the black swans even made a surprise appearance. A fun couple, a beautiful venue, and a wedding day full of unforgettable moments.

Anna & Josh | Swan Lake

Anna and Josh’s June wedding day was rainy and chilly, but they didn’t let the weather slow them down for even a moment. Their love and connection were front and center, and we captured some incredibly romantic images despite the rain. It was a perfect reminder that the most important part of the day is simply getting married.

Carlos & Roxy | Tomasello Winery

Carlos and Roxy tied the knot at Tomasello Winery on one of the hottest days of the year — temperatures were well over 100 degrees, and yes, we were all sweating! Despite the heat, their romantic love story and the beautiful vineyard setting made for an unforgettable wedding day and stunning photos.

Barbara & Justin | Ocean City Courthouse & Beach

Barbara and Justin were married during a hot and busy Fourth of July weekend in Ocean City. After their courthouse ceremony, we headed to the boardwalk and beach for photos. Their love for each other and their family was evident in every moment, and it was such a fun way to celebrate.

Rebecca & Zak | Ramblewood Country Club

Rebecca and Zak’s August wedding day kept us guessing with changing weather, but it ultimately turned into a sunny, hot celebration. Ramblewood Country Club offered so many great photo locations, and this beautiful couple made every image shine.

Holly & Blayne | ICONA Wildwood

Holly and Blayne had planned for lots of beach photos, but a rainy day meant we had to pivot — and everything worked out perfectly. These two were so carefree and focused on what truly mattered: getting married. Their relaxed attitude made the day feel effortless and full of joy.

Jamie & Nick | Swan Lake

Jamie and Nick enjoyed a beautiful September wedding day at Swan Lake, filled with sunshine and warmth. Surrounded by their fun-loving family and friends, their day was full of laughter, love, and genuine moments from start to finish.

Molly & Bobby | Ocean City Yacht Club

Molly and Bobby’s wedding day was the perfect blend of romance and fun. They exchanged vows on the beach and then celebrated with an incredible party at the Ocean City Yacht Club. A gorgeous September day, beautiful light, and a couple who truly embraced every moment.

Kelsey & Chris | Ocean City Yacht Club

Kelsey and Chris were married on another stunning day at the Ocean City Yacht Club. Their wedding ended with breathtaking sunset photos and an unforgettable party. A fun-loving couple and a celebration filled with energy and love.

Ellen & Mike | Camden County Boathouse

Ellen and Mike had a bright and sunny October wedding day at the Camden County Boathouse. Their elegant celebration included a ride in a Rolls Royce and was filled with classic, timeless moments. A beautiful venue and a wonderful couple.

Kerri & Tino | Evermore Manor

Kerri and Tino were married on 10/10 at the Evermore Manor. It was a warm, overcast day that created the perfect light for photos. Their wedding was romantic, fun, and ended with an amazing party. A fun coincidence — I’ll be back at this same venue on the same date this year with a different couple.

Rachel & Brad | Egg Harbor Township Backyard Wedding

Rachel and Brad’s backyard wedding in Egg Harbor Township was intimate, heartfelt, and full of thoughtful details. A little rain and cloud cover didn’t stop their day from being beautiful. Their love for each other and the care they put into every detail made this day truly special.

Erin & Thomas | Hamilton Manor

Erin and Thomas celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous Hamilton Manor on a perfect October day. Overcast skies made the fall colors pop, creating a stunning backdrop for their elegant celebration.

Robyn & Keenan | Swan Lake

Robyn and Keenan’s Swan Lake wedding was such a joy to photograph. From getting to know them and their families to capturing their incredible sunset photos, their day was filled with so much love. A late-night donut truck made the celebration even more fun and memorable.

Megan & Jack | The Cardinal, Atlantic City

Megan and Jack had a small, intimate wedding at The Cardinal in Atlantic City. A beautiful November day allowed us to take photos along the boardwalk and beach, giving their wedding a relaxed, personal feel that suited them perfectly.

Amy & Tyler | Swan Lake

Amy and Tyler wrapped up the 2025 wedding season at Swan Lake, making it the perfect place to end where the year began. It was a chilly, overcast day, but the remaining fall colors truly popped. The black swans even made one last appearance — a fitting and magical way to close out an unforgettable season.

Final Thoughts | Looking Ahead

I am incredibly grateful to every couple who trusted me to document their wedding day in 2025. Whether it was a large celebration or an intimate gathering, every wedding told a story worth remembering.

This year reminded me that perfect weather isn’t what makes a perfect wedding — connection, emotion, and being surrounded by the people you love is what truly matters. I’m thankful for the referrals, the families I continue to photograph year after year, and the new couples I had the privilege of meeting.

As I look ahead to the next wedding season, I’m excited for more love stories, meaningful moments, and beautiful celebrations across South Jersey, the Jersey Shore, and beyond.

If you’re planning your wedding and looking for a New Jersey wedding photographer who values connection, storytelling, and timeless images, I would love to hear from you.

Here’s to another unforgettable year!
